Have You Ever Seen The Rain…
Brace yourself…it poured in Southern California over the weekend.Â

Culture, darling. Along with amazing restaurants, interesting neighborhoods that cry out to be explored, sometimes inspiring sports teams, compelling people, captivating music, incredible Broadway shows, NYC offers some of the best museums in the world.
This is not a post about my mother who has a deep purple addiction, but it is about The Color Purple. Come along…we are Broadway Bound. Last week I attended two diverse Broadway musicals. I did not want to see The Color Purple again. I was very disappointed with the original…overblown and boring. My Broadway…
I recently danced my way to the 9:30am opening of the Degas exhibit in New York City at the Museum of Modern Art.
I am a Broadway babe. Other than the joy I receive from my family, travel and intermittent satisfaction from the NY Giants, Yankees and Syracuse Orange basketball wins, nothing thrills me as much as a fabulous Broadway show.
Sunday dawned in NYC and the weather mafia was in a frenzy. It was the first day of spring and snow was on the horizon.
New, exciting cultural offerings in New York City and the price was right…free.
Free to be me in NYC.
Yesterday, I experienced a real New York Sunday.
6am and ready to hit Central Park on a gorgeous day.
Sunday I caved to Oscar pressure.
Monday was a holiday and the entire family had the day off…very unusual for David to have a day off. What to do on a dreary Southern California Monday?

Trump needs to fly commercial before he makes sweeping statements about throwing immigrants out of this country.
Leaving on a jet plane. I do know when I’ll be back again, just not as soon as I would like.
Feeling bored? I prescribe a heavy dose of New York City for what ails you.
Another fabulous day in New York City. So much to do and see…wads of cash not needed.
My daughter is definitely my partner in crime as well as my bestie.
I am being held hostage by jet lag. When you awake at 1 am and are ready to rumble your options are limited to quietly reading the NY Times online and perusing email. The only silent diversion left is to think ahead and plan the day.
Welcome home. Bummer…up all night with a headache. It was unlike my typical migraine. Never slept so on the advise of my in-house doctor, Courtny, I headed to a spin class. Miracle. I kicked the crap out of my endorphins and I felt better.
