Saturday was dawning as we were arriving at Los Angeles Airport. I felt energized and excited to begin my journey to New York City. But wait a New York minute…the Angry Birds took flight before I even stepped onto the plane.

I am so tired at night. I usually turn in between 10 and midnight and quickly fall into a deep sleep. I wake up feeling replenished yet groggy and assume that it is 6am and time to feed Madison, our Golden Lab. It is 45 minutes after I have gone to sleep.
The hoopla has died down. Awards season is behind us, but I am still catching up. We saw, Still Alice the other day and it was superb. I cried me a river.
Oscar Sunday. I rolled out the red carpet in our new home and made my family walk it with ‘tude into the kitchen for breakfast…it’s LA so we got with the program. Afterwards, they each had to deliver an acceptance speech, acknowledging my fine frittata.
Friday night I partied like it was 1999.
I’m turning into my mother…heaven forbid.
Head on collision…heavy emotional impact. I rarely have experienced such a visceral reaction to a movie. Whiplash really shakes you up…it is so uncomfortably intense.
