I spent last Sunday at Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s picturesque 19th century country house.
I cheated.
Batard it’s not just dining…it’s a dining experience.
I have a dirty little secret that I am about to reveal.
Sunday we hit the ground running. We had four hours to inhale the essence of the city before the 1pm NY Giants kick off against the Houston Texans.
Update: Unfortunately, Brilliantshine has left the building…the partnership was not as solid as the food. The space eclectic. The owners engaged.
Last weekend we went to the circus. Instead of clowns entertaining the patrons it was food, exhibited with Philippe Starck proportioned flair.

Sending out an S.O.S.
Dig in and devour this post.
I devoured some wonderful farm to table food at moderate prices last weekend. Father’s Office has been situated at the Helms Bakery in Culver CIty for several years and it continues to impress.
POT…I inhaled and was stoked.
Holiday weekend and I was stuck moving.

Tulum’s Posada Margherita…a recipe for success.
I have been wanting to dine at Carbone for quite a while. I held off because dinner just seemed a tad pricey.
No more Pastis. What is NYC without a plethora of McNally dining opportunities?! Not to fret. Cherche Midi has arrived…Keith McNally’s empire is still thriving.

I just cannot clam up about a fabulous new restaurant in New York City.
