Blooming Brownies…

In light of the advent of spring I thought we should spring forward with sweetness.

Brownies are a quick fix for any residual negativity:

Brownie recipe:

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

2 1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate (3 bars)

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup walnuts (optional)

12 cup aluminized cupcake pan

cupcake baking cups

Get To It:

Thoroughly cream 1/2 cup butter…melt in microwave for 40 seconds and check as you don’t want a butter bomb to clean up!

Add 1 cup sugar.

Add 2 well beaten eggs.

Blend in 2 1/2 oz. of melted unsweetened chocolate.

Mix in 1 tsp vanilla

Stir in 1/2 cup flour.

Optional:  1/2 cup chopped walnuts.

Spray  cupcake pan with PAM or moisten a paper towel with Avocado oil and wipe down each cup.

Place cupcake baking cups in each slot.

Use an ice cream scoop which is  3/4 filled with brownie mixture.

Bake for 20 minutes in a pre-heated 350 degree oven.
