Hot Child In The City…
The heat is on. Los Angeles was sweltering yesterday. I literally burned my finger opening the car door.

Re-entry is rough.
New York City…the gift that keeps on giving and so we delighted in yet another interesting day exploring all that Manhattan has to offer.
New York is a very expensive place to live and visit…but there are many exciting and interesting offerings at bargain pricing.
Clocked miles this weekend, taking in my New York City surroundings. After a great deal of research I have come to the conclusion that tourists are a pain in the ass. Yes, cities adore the revenue they bring in, but they don’t know how to maneuver the sidewalks in the Big Apple. NYC should publish…
Buenas Noches…it is after 7 pm in Cusco, Peru. I feel as if I had way too many Pisco Sours as we are at 9,000 feet in this gorgeous Incan city.
What a birthday celebration. I planned a trip for my husband’s and my birthday.
Home Again, home again, hippity hop…
Zac Efron should have been having fun at the Santa Monica Pier rather than hanging in downtown LA. He could have gotten a natural high from the views and the rides rather than having a fist fight with the transients on sketchy skid row.
After viewing the menswear at the Oscars, I just had to post about how I am trending.
Sunday morning and I am sitting at the beach in Pacific Palisades with the latest John Grisham book, Sycamore Row, a great beach read, a Starbucks nonfat cap more foam than milk (like, so LA) and my sweetheart of many years.
Back in Los Angeles and for southern California, it is a bit chilly. The temperature is in the 40’s and 50’s and people are freaking out. To a menopausal woman, the cool air is brilliant. It seems like fall, but walking the doggies I am overwhelmed by the locals reaction to the weather.
After buying the New York Football Giants (should be a bargain after yesterday’s abysmal play in San Diego) and having an on-call masseuse, I am going to acquire or charter a jet. I am hoping that by the end of this post, everyone who reads this will decide to join my Charter Club so we…
The holidays are so close. Manhattan retailers are busy, windows glowing, spirits high. Walking in Central Park and passing through Times Square on the way to a Broadway show, I have observed the city teeming with tourists. NYC is buzzing. The tree at Rockefeller Center was lite Wednesday night. It is a 76-foot Norway Spruce….
So much to say… I am on the plane, winging my way back to New York City to resume normal programming. What an amazing trip. Paris is one of the best cities in the world. Last night we strolled the Marais with hundreds of Parisiennes and had an incredible time looking in stores windows, watching…
Let me tell you, Paris has its’ stuff together…never has the city been so clean and glowing. The monuments and churches have been spruced up and restored to their original pristine condition and the parks are all landscaped and inviting. Even the dog poop has been reduced…c’est bon!
Touched down in Paris at 7:30am on Saturday. We grabbed a cab and arrived at the apartment by 9am…washed up and hit the ground running…Bonjour, Paris! Strolled the Marais and dashed over to Chez Hannah on Rue des Rosiers to indulge in a fabulous fallafel…lines even in November. The fallafels in the Jewish section of…
I am in NYC and the theme is, GO and DO every minute just because there are soo many amazing things to do and see…my experiences, hopefully, provide my readers with great ideas for holiday happenings and gifts.
Big Reveal…the holiday windows debuted yesterday in New York City on a cloudless, sunny, brisk November day. In my humble opinion, Bergdorf Goodman, the one of a kind specialty store on the corner of 57th Street and 5th Avenue, blows all other windows out of the water every holiday season. They are always elegant, detailed…
Come Fly With Me… Today I am leaving on a jet plane, destination Los Angeles. I always depart my beloved NY in sadness, left wanting for a life that baths me in excitement, stimulation, never disappoints. I am excited to see my husband after nearly 2 months and my doggies who I am desperate to…
