Just attended my 16th Broadway show this season.
Most are all new shows, debuting Spring 2025.
Surprisingly, they are some of the best shows I have seen in a long time.
I did not dislike any which is unusual!
Today’s Flight of Fancy focuses on how enjoyable an activity it is to see a musical or play on Broadway.
Theater tickets are expensive. Of the 16 shows I paid full price for two, Just In Time with Jonathan Goff which is always sold-out and Call me Izzy with Jean Smart.
Some tips. Try to qualify to join a non-profit theater club such as TDF. Today Tix has great prices especially if you do not mind mezzanine or balcony seating. Download the Theatr App, hit up TKTS at Times Square and Lincoln Center. I go to TKTS at Times Square 20 minutes before showtime. There is availability and usually no lines.
Theater provides so much joy and pleasure.
See a show, but never pay full price!
