Let It Snow…

As I lounge on the beach my heart goes out to the citizens of New York City.

Visually, Sunday was purportedly a glorious day in Manhattan with the pristine white flakes covering the high rises with a layer of vanilla icing, frosting the NYC skyline.

As Monday dawns in a frigid NYC, shades of yellow appear, along with curb potholes that devour shoes and pant legs in surprisingly deep water.

I am thankful to be swimming in clear blue water and reading my new Nook under an expansive umbrella shielding me from the azure blue sky.

In all seriousness, as I wake to post today’s blog, I must rain on my sardonic parade and edit.

I am literally heartbroken over all the hatred displayed over the weekend regarding the shooting at Brown University, the Chanukah massacre at Bondi Beach in Australian and the senseless murder of Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner…very dark times.

I am speechless and will rely on a past friend and client, Jesse Colin Young, to express my feelings…

Come on people nowSmile on your brotherEverybody get togetherAnd try to love one another right now.
