Mosey Through The Norton Museum…

Baby it’s cold outside.

Instead of plunging into the pool I dove into a bit of culture.

We headed out on a chilly Sunday afternoon to the Norton Museum Of Art located in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The Norton was founded in 1941 by Ralph Hubbard Norton, the former head of Acme Steel Company who retired to West Palm Beach and decided to share his art collection.

The museum also features a 9,000 square foot Sculpture Garden.

Among the renowned collection of over 8, 200 works  of art are paintings and sculpture by Claude Monet, Rodin, Brancusi, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Camille Pissarro, Degas, Vincent Van Gogh, Jackson Pollack, Georgia O’Keefe, Edward Hopper, Louise Bourgeois, Jenny Saville, Derrick Adams, Damien Hirst, Kara Walker, and Cindy Sherman.

The museum specializes in 19th to 21st-century American, European and Chinese art.

Take the tour:

The Norton is definitely worth a visit and there is also a lovely cafe.
