Well, well, well. Google just notified me of something delightfully delicious.

Over half a million people have recently laid eyes on my food photos.

That’s right…500,000+ people have willingly subjected themselves to my visual obsessions with uni toast, moody lighting and creative dishes so good and sometimes so blatantly tasteless my reaction practically comes with a PG-13 warning.

Add to that the 700+ restaurant reviews I’ve written (clearly, I’ve eaten my feelings across the continents), and I suppose I owe you all a proper thank you.

If the Devil Had Menopause started as a playful, irreverent peek into my chaotic, curious, opinionated life and somewhere along the way, it became a gathering spot for the similarly food-obsessed, theater-loving, slightly cynical, politically motivated, sports, fashion and music adoring, deliciously discerning people.

A shoutout to my daughter who ignited the little engine that eventually could. When she declared she was starting a blog for me because she was sick and tired of people asking me where to eat and vacation, my reaction was, “What the F is a blog?”

To those of you who’ve reached out over the years offering opinions, arguing over sauces, recommending hidden gems, or my personal favorite, suggesting this blog to friends, I see you. I appreciate you. And positive or negative, I love hearing from you.

You’ve helped shape this blog into something far more than just restaurant reviews. It’s become a love letter to the messy joy of indulgence, the theater of dining out, and the deeply human need to share a meal, a laugh, or a slightly unhinged opinion with someone who gets it.

So thank you for your unending dedication.
