Heart stopping.

My daughter works right by the Park Avenue building that was terrorized Monday night in Manhattan.

She never leaves early. For some reason she departed right before 6:30 just avoiding the tragedy that ensued.

She made it to the E subway station shortly before lockdown.

So lucky.

Another gun related massacre in America.

Yet half of Americans are against gun control and the banning of highly destructive assault weapons, in particular.

What the hell is wrong with this country? There is seriously not one redeeming quality since the chaos monkey took control.

Lying, cheating, sexual assaults, abductions of US citizens, bad behavior constantly being rewarded, breaking bad news multiple times a day.

Even the Yankees are playing unAmerican baseball, filled with fielding errors, terrible base running, hitless wonders and uninspired pitching.

The weather is explosively hot and Congress is canceling climate control legislation.

America is a shit show.

I would love to flush it all away and restart this country, eliminating, like a satisfying bowel movement, the desire by Congress and a multitude of political sycophants to genuflect to an illiterate chaos monkey.
