Mirror Mirror on the wall what’s one of the worst Broadway musical of them all?

I bring up mirrors because Versailles is all about the looking glass.

Do not think, merely follow.

This leads me to the new Broadway show, Queen of Versailles, which makes the Top 10 worst Broadway musicals I have ever seen.

Kirstin Chenoweth is a Queen among Broadway actors, but even she cannot save this reign of terror.

Kudos for Kristin roaming the stage nonstop in sky high heels to emulate the statuesque real Queen of Versailles, Jackie Siegel, along with the weighty, lengthy blonde wig/extensions, enormous breasts and minuscule, thigh bearing skirts.

Her amazing voice cannot save the extremely mundane music and lyrics by Wicked composer, Stephen Schwartz.

F. Murray Abraham lives like a king, but he is not worth his weight in gold.

The only saving grace are the sets.

Make us all eat cake…that would be the only palatable morsel from this over-baked, tasteless production.
