My husband is repelled by the Housewives franchise.

Just hearing the inane babble from afar drives him crazy.

The other night I was discussing the latest scandal on another Bravo franchise, Summer House, with my daughter who, by the way, did the deal for the new series which debuts on May 19th on Bravo featuring  Summer House cast members called, In the City…mark your calendars!

Here’s the juicy scoop…West and Amanda from the Summer House series are in a scandalous relationship. Amanda left douchie Kyle after a long, turbulent romance that led to marriage. West, the player in the house, also had a rocky liaison with yet another housemate and Amanda’s bestie, Ciara.

I mentioned catching up on the latest episodes in the Summer House debacle and invited my husband to watch it with us.

Silence screamed from the backseat of the car and then suddenly he declared, “I would rather drink Summer’s Eve than watch Summer House!”

That brought plans for a Summer House watch party to a screeching halt.

Needless to say, we ended up watching alternative programming.
